John Joesph Bell (1899 - 1979) was born in the small town of Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada to the Mohawk Indian Tribe.
Begining[]
John started training Catch Wrestling as a young boy at a now defunct local gym where he eventually started coaching.
Bell turned pro in 1916 at the age of 17 and eventually became a World Light Heavyweight Wrestling Champion for 7 years.
Unfortunately he died in 1979 at the age of 80 years old.

- He claimed that his submission hold “The Indian Death Lock” was unbreakable and like his nephew Chief Don Eagle, he was also famous for the Bow and Arrow hold.
